Sip to Safety

Seven Specialized Units. One Shared Mission. Bringing Loved Ones Home.

When someone is lost or in need, King County Search and Rescue (King County SAR) volunteer teams answer the call—24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Join us for a casual evening at the Mercer Island Beach Club to ensure our rescuers remain fully equipped, trained, and mission-ready for every emergency.

While King County SAR envisions a permanent headquarters to anchor regional rescue operations, this evening offers guests a chance to support operational readiness. Sustained operational funding provides the vital foundation our volunteer teams rely on today—funding advanced technical gear, rigorous field training, and life-saving equipment—giving us the stability to build our future home tomorrow.

An Evening of Connection and Community

Connect with fellow community members, board members, and active King County SAR volunteer rescuers while enjoying a hosted reception overlooking the water.

What to Expect:

• Hear inspiring, real-life presentations directly from SAR subjects whose lives were saved by our volunteer units.
• Enjoy delicious small bites paired with a selection of wine, local beer, and craft kombucha.
• Participate in a raffle and small auction that has unique packages and local items to directly support field operations.
• Stand with us during our direct giving presentation as we aim to raise $50,000 that evening to reach our $125,000 end-of-year goal for sustained operational support.

Double Your Impact with Our $50,000 Matching Challenge! Every dollar raised directly empowers our seven specialized rescue units to answer the call. Be part of the mission that brings loved ones home safely.
